Hey there, it's Ben Liebert. I live in New York City and I'm currently in Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish. I sat on council for four years and I can tell you that a lot of the business that comes before council does not pertain to the office cities. And even though I've worked all across this country, no experience of mine is going to replace the first-hand experience of someone who works and lives outside of an office city when it comes to those issues. And then when we're talking about the big picture of the union, you know, we are a national union and I want national diverse voices in the conversation of the direction Equity should be going in. The voices that are not in the council room every month. At a national convention we add 128 more brains, more voices to that room - to that conversation and I think that is a better and way more democratic way for Equity to run. And then when it comes to eliminating the cap on working dues, I mean, we are a union, we are all in this together. We should all pay our fair share, enough said. So, when the referendum ballot comes out at the beginning of May I'm gonna be voting yes and I hope you do too!
