Welcome to "Proposal Tips for Writing an NNLM PNR Funding Opportunity". My name is Nancy Shin and I will be your presenter today. Currently, I'm the Research and Data Coordinator for the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) of the Pacific NW Region (PNR) at the University of Washington. This is Video #6 on Writing the Proposal: Required Attachments and Final Steps of the 8-part video series on the topic of "Proposal Tips for Writing an NNLM PNR Funding Opportunity." Let's have a look at Video #6's agenda. The agenda is quite simple. First, we'll look at the Required Attachments and then we'll end our session with a look at the Final Steps with an Application/Proposal Checklist. The Required Attachments if you recall, is the third thing that you need to complete your official proposal submission. Any additional attachments outside this set of guidelines will not be reviewed! Soooo, pay attention! You'll need the following forms/attachments to accompany your cover sheet, and project info and plan to complete your official proposal submission. A budget. Use the template that is provided in the RFP. Remember to include quotes on equipment, supplies or any technology your propose to purchase. Another attachment are the CVs/resumes of key personnel As well, the completed Population and Participants section checklist and the NNLM Goal Identification form should be filled out and attached as well The last required attachment are letters of commitment from institutional leadership, partnering institution(s)/organization(s), and technology supported personnel for the applicant's institution if technology is being purchased. A letter of commitment is one page long; in it, it should indicate support for the project, describe existing partnerships, and state what the organization will put into the project and how they will benefit. We are getting one step closer to finalizing your proposal submission. Here are some Final Steps and an Application Checklist to help you finalize your submission: Make sure that you follow the instructions for submitting exactly. Always proofread your work!!! Remember to submit all of the requested materials as one PDF email submission to nnlm@uw.edu. Please place the correct award name in the subject line of the email. The NNLM PNR Office will not accept any late applications/proposals. Anyway, this brings us to the end of Video #6.
